just curious.
i like the youtube channel suspicious observers, because it's brief & includes solar information.

Your local newspapers website? I read HS.fi but that's in Finnish so it probably won't help you much.

i could spend all day trying to pronounce that, and have a good time doing it.
the local news isn't very good.

Then maybe some of the bigger US newspapers like New York Times or something. Or BBC news .
BTW Finnish is actually quite easy to pronounce (I know, easy for me to say) once you get hang of it as almost every word is pronounced the same way it's written.

NYTimes, Washington Post, BBC, ESPN F1. Every morning. I've got other sites in my morning routine, but they're not newsy: Astronomy Picture of the Day , NASA Picture of the Day , NOAA Image of the Day , Calvin and Hobbes . Also numerous RSS feeds of aviation news, a couple of other Gawker sites.

Well, over many years, one tends to develop routines. But yeah, I like to stay on top of what's going on in the world, even if it is depressing.
